Speaking Part 4

To finish off the lesson on comparatives and superlatives, it would be very beneficial for you to think about how you could use the language you have learnt in the Speaking part. In part 4, you will be asked to give your opinions and thoughts on a range of topics. Questions often involve you needing to make comparisons between two things. This could be anything from comparing the lives of people in the present to those of the past to how technology has changed over the years. Below are some cards containing typical questions from this part of the exam. Before turning the cards, think about how you could use higher level comparative and superlative language to answer the questions in your won words. Once you have done this, you can flip them to see some sample answers which would be considered suitable at C1 level.
