The cleft structure that you are most likely to come across will begin with what (the thing) or all (the only thing) + clause + be, and then the part of the sentence we want to emphasis. Take the following examples:
I need a cup of tea = What I need is a cup of tea.
I hate the commute to work = What I hate about my job is the commute.
I only asked a question = All I did was ask a question.
I just need some peace and quiet = All I need is some peace and quiet.
